Tommy Fury may have received a shock boxing lifeline in the form of a fierce rival.
Fury defeated YouTube’s biggest boxing stars Jake Paul and KSI last year.
But he hasn’t boxed since, having to undergo hand surgery following his controversial decision win over KSI in October.
He has been in the unwanted spotlight since his split from Molly-Mae Hague amid cheating allegations – which he publicly denied.
And his boxing career has suffered a setback following his surgery and controversial win over KSI.
But Misfits Boxing – which is co-founded by KSI and headlined by Mams Taylor – could be an unlikely route back into the ring for Fury.
“The door is open. I think he’s 25, he certainly brings a lot of value,” Taylor told SunSport.
“His dad is also very entertaining and gets along really well with him. I think we’re ready for it. Let’s see where he wants to go.”
“It will probably make sense. It should make sense on every front, you know? But always be prepared to negotiate.”
Neither KSI, 31, nor Fury, 25, have boxed since their pay-per-view blockbuster due to similar hand injuries.

It is being said that tickets for this box office fight have been sold out 1 million PPVs,
But Taylor has been told Fury is not fit to box yet, so the prospect of a rematch remains uncertain.
He said: “The last time we all spoke we knew Tommy was going to be unable to fight for a period of time.
“We look forward to reconnecting and seeing what’s next for him.”
