Shane Fury believes his father gave the wrong instructions regarding his brother Tyson’s defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.
Proud dad John was in the corner during Tyson’s historic fight with the undisputed, former pound-for-pound king in May.
The former fighter was criticised for giving instructions to Gyspy King over head coach Sugarhill Steward, especially after he was nearly knocked out in the ninth round.
Tyson has yet to criticize his father’s advice, which Shane believes wasn’t the best advice.
When asked if there were a lot of noises in the corner, Shane explained Secondsout: “(I) agree 100%.
“My thoughts are deep, true, honest Opinion My father wants what’s best for his son, and when he’s nearly unconscious, the best thing for him is to get him out of the fight.
“Boxing be damned, you can get knocked down and still not get up.
“That’s his mindset because he wants the best for his sons, but sometimes when you want the best for somebody that’s maybe not the best direction.
“Sometimes these instructions aren’t what you need.”
Shane isn’t the only member of the Fury family who believes John’s advice wasn’t the best.

John’s brother Peter – Tyson’s former trainer – recently told Red October: “There should only be one man in the corner, not three or four.
“Some people get very emotional in the corner and are giving some wrong advice.
“I think the only person who showed some sense at the last minute was Sugar Hill, who said just put it on them.
“When you get into a fight, it doesn’t matter who it is, it could even be a family member, but you have to give accurate and clear information.
“And I always say to the fighter, ‘Are you listening, are you understanding what I told you to do?’
“There were a lot of people out there, but maybe that’s what Tyson wants, I don’t know, it’s been a few years since I worked with him.
“I don’t know what the situation is but to me clearly the game plan was wrong and only one person should speak out,” he said.
“How can you hear all this? It’s a bit jarring and it’s all over the place.
“I’ve always said I can’t be bought in boxing.
“If someone is talking in the corner, I’ll say shut your mouth or back off.
“It’s happened before. I don’t want anything to happen in that corner.”
“You’re the bucket guy, you wash the gumshield, you wipe his head, you don’t speak.
“This is their instruction, and if they speak, then when they return backstageDismissed on the spot. You should have a professional corner.”
Fury, 35, will get the chance to avenge his first professional defeat in a highly-anticipated rematch on December 21.
And the former WBC heavyweight champion is confident he will get the win over the clever southpaw.
He said: “Listen! I’ve won everything in boxing – titles, records, the lot.”
“But I never had to come back from a loss.
“On December 21 in Riyadh, in the heart of the kingdom, the king will reclaim his throne and be undisputed.
