And the UFC’s poster boy was welcomed into the Octagon by former three-time Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler – who was his rival coach on season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter.
The pair, 35 and 37 years old, were expected to fight late last year, but the UFC decided to save their bout for next year. Heat By 2024.
However, their long-awaited clash – which was first announced last February – was cancelled due to the Irishman suffering an injury.
