A bare-knuckle boxer became so nervous about an interruption in his match that he began fighting with the referee.
Keith Richardson faces Alberto Blass at the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship in Florida.
In the first round, Blass pushed Richardson against the ropes and landed a flurry of combinations.
Referee Sam Burgos intervened to stop the match but this led to chaos in the ring.
Richardson – who is a former MMA fighter – began attacking referee Burgos with a combination of punches.
It is unclear if he was in a state of shock and confusion or taking revenge for being stopped.
Members of his team rushed into the ring to stop the attack – leaving fans online stunned.
One said: “OMG Keith Richardson tried to fight the ref because he was so injured. Very ugly scene.”
Another said: “Keith Richardson was so out of control he started fighting the referee.”
Richardson said after the fight and the incident: “It’s been a while since I lost.

“Maybe regroup and take another shot at the ref. You all saved him, he didn’t want that!”
UFC legend Conor McGregor, 35, is now a co-owner of BKFC and congratulated Blass on social media.
