Eddie Hearn has given his thoughts on Anthony Joshua’s recent change in mindset.
The former two-time unified heavyweight champion has shown a bit of a change in his personality over the past two years.
AJ has been very vocal about his opinions on the sport and hasn’t been afraid to take verbal digs and make threats against his opponents lately.
His change in mindset has not gone unnoticed by boxing fans, with many of them wondering what the reason behind the change is.
According to longtime promoter Hearn, the change is a result of the fact that A.J. doesn’t care anymore, as he’s climbed the heavyweight mountain twice.
Matchroom Boxing chief explains boom in sports: “He’s always had that edge. But I think he’s a lot less cautious now.
“When he won the Olympics, he came from the GB school, which is very corporate and it has been amazing for the sport.
“He’s been an ambassador for it, he’s reignited interest in it and increased participation among kids at a grassroots level.
“But now he thinks, ‘I’ve done my part. I don’t care about it anymore.’
“Now, if you put this on him, he’ll want to bite your head off.

Joshua, 35, showed off his fierce side in his recent clash with his upcoming opponent Daniel Dubois.
When ‘Triple D’ challenged him to a domestic brawl, Joshua hit back: “I’ll throw this chair in your face.”
“Don’t disrespect me. Don’t disrespect me. Daniel, don’t disrespect me.”
DuBois responded: “You can’t intimidate me. Who do you think you are?”
Joshua calmly stood up and spoke before warning Dubois: “Daniel, don’t disrespect me because I will put this chair in your face.
“I don’t take disrespect lightly, Dan.
