Danny Aarons has gone from being an overweight gamer to the next KSI of Misfits Boxing, having made a sensational turnaround in his life.
Aron is finished 17 stones Having gained fame by playing FIFA video game on YouTube.
But with Misfits Boxing seeing a growing trend of celebrity-style crossover bouts, the 22-year-old boxer decided to get involved.
He will now make his debut against Premier League winner Danny Simpson in Dublin on Saturday night.
It’s an astonishing paradox, as Aarons told SunSport: “Obviously there’s a physical change but you don’t realise how much of a mental change it is.
“I would wake up at stupid hours and do nothing, my life became so unproductive, I would eat a lot of junk food, and it was neither healthy nor a sustainable way to live.
“So you have to make good changes. It’s a mental change, but I’m not a doctor or anything, but honestly, just get outside, walk around, take a walk, eat clean.”
Aarons now weighs 11 stone 7 pounds after spending hours training under coach Huzaifa Iqbal in Surrey.
He said: “It’s easy to go out there one day and do it because it’s fun, you know, it’s new.
“But when you have to wake up again, do it the next day, and then the day after that, and the day after that, that’s the hardest thing to stay consistent with.

“The easiest part, I think my coaches and they are like family to me, it’s not like I have to go to training.
“It feels like I’m hanging out with the boys, man, it feels good.”
Aarons has welcomed the comparisons to KSI – as he has gone from being a content creator to a boxer.
He said: “I like the pressure. I love the pressure. Being compared to KSI can’t be a bad thing. So I’ll take it.”
